This role demands a self-sufficient engineer with hands-on experience in one or more of the following: Fanuc, Siemens controls, PLC programming, and CNC mechanical/electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repair, and potentially retrofitting CNC machines. Prior experience operating CNC machinery is advantageous.Key Responsibilities:Independently troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, identifying and sourcing necessary parts.Utilize knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens controls, and PLC programming to address machine issues.Retrofit CNC machinery with Fanuc controls when required.Innovate and develop best practices in alignment with the company's commitment to innovation.Coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.Travel Requirements:Primary work location will be within the Houston Metro Area.Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time across the United States.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as bending, jumping, and climbing into and out of machines, adhering to all safety protocols.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred, but equivalent experience is considered.Strong expertise in CNC systems, particularly Fanuc and Siemens controls.Proven ability to work independently and manage complex service tasks.Benefits:12 days' vacation after 90 days (prorated from start date).Paid holidays and comprehensive medical, dental, and life insurance.Opportunities for career growth, college reimbursement, and extensive training.Bonus program, car allowance, gas card, paid tolls, work tools, and a company-provided laptop.Our client is dedicated to fostering a diverse and collaborative environment.
