They have specialized in private and government markets for over 25 years and have an extensive pipeline of projects going forward. Their average projects cost is $50M+ and average project size is 80,000 sq ft. They provide an extremely comprehensive benefits package and provide annual bonuses up to 20%.DescriptionDevelop and prepare conceptual estimates with minimal subcontractor assistance using limited preliminary design documents/information.Develop subcontract interest in projects and manage the subcontractor RFP process.Itemize trade specific scopes and prepare bid packages.Review and edit the bid or RFP content, check for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies, and ensure that the bid follows the client's specifications and guidelinesIdentify and address any risks, opportunities, or gaps in the bid, and provide recommendations and solutionsBuild and maintain positive relationships with the client and any external partners, and manage any conflicts or feedbackResponsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors such as labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacksCompile reports and make presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projectsEstimate new and retrofit construction measures for projectsReview plans and specifications to address RFIs and address conflictsProcure LEED specifications on various products to ensure compliance with customer preferenceProfileMust have at least 5 years' experience in related field, preferably in construction.the ideal candidate bachelors degree.Must be willing to apply for a security clearance.Top Secret Clearance - preferredProven track record of successfully estimating and managing projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million in value.Extensive knowledge of commercial construction practices, materials, and methods.Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines.Professional certificationsJob OfferBase Salary: 130,000-150,000 (depends on level of experience)Subsidized medical and dental 50/50401k match up to 4%Free life disabilityAnnual bonuses up to 20% based on performance3 weeks PTOHybrid work from home scheduleMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
