OverviewThis individual will be responsible for the delivery of key business projects including the Assessment of the project opportunity, Evaluation of feasible solutions, Generation of a detailed execution plan, Risk analysis, Contract negotiation, Cost budgeting, Project reporting, Issue escalation, Project execution and Project evaluation. They will also be required to mentor and develop other Project Managers in the Business to increase the level of on time and on budget delivery of all projects within the organization.ResponsibilitiesEssential duties include the following; other duties may be assigned:To take responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects in line with agreed Start of Production (SOP)/ Commercialization date. Create and maintain a feasible timeline that achieves the goals of the project and will be used to drive project execution on time.To ensure Key Performance Indicators and Project Performance Metrics for the project are scoped and maintained with business strategy in mind and met within the allocated budgetManage projects within budget and to the cash flow needs of the business and report and adjust monthly.Select and manage the core team and functional experts to deliver assigned projects, removing roadblocks where necessary.Update and maintain all relevant project docs (i.e. Timeline, Project Charter, Escalation One Pager Reports, and Gate passage documentation)Drive the project through the gate system within the required timing for the project.Organize completion of Project Charter and Gate Presentation documents for gate reviewsEnsure project team supplies all relevant information to complete gate reviewsCommunicate active and upcoming tasks on a weekly basis to project team membersOrganize and lead regular team meetings to ensure communication with team, sponsor, cross functional stakeholders and PMO and also drive issue resolutionProvide regular monthly updates of project status through standard reporting and any other required leadership meetings/ reports.Report any variances and deviations in project scope/KPI, budget and schedule in a timely manner to appropriate leadership and push for resolution.QualificationsBachelor degree in technical or business related field or equivalent experience required, MBA preferredConstruction or facilities management experience is a must5+ years of previous non-IT project management experience requiredPrevious cross-functional experience in Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or IT preferredPrevious experience in leading key initiativesProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferredSix Sigma Certification preferredSkills/OtherStrong organization, analytical, time-management and communication skillsOutstanding Leadership: Ability to influence leaders and cross functional peers and drive resultsExcellent Oral and Written communication skillsAbility to handle conflict managementSelf-Starter: Ability to be efficient and productive while working independent of direct supervisionProject delivery experience a must as well as the ability to handle multiple-tasks and meet deadlinesMS Office skills especially Word, Power Point, Visio, MS-Project and ExcelKnowledge of project management toolsTravel 40-50% of the yearLI-JAEEOMotrex is an equal opportunity employer where an applicant's qualifications are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other basis prohibited by law.About Our CompanyMotrex () provides services to industrial manufacturing and recycling businesses.
