We provide full-service engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) services to industrial process manufacturers that operate in pulp & paper, chemical, CPG, F&B, power and heavy industrial market markets across the nation. We are in a significant growth mode and it's an exciting time to be joining our business!WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: This person will design structures that must endure stresses and pressures inflicted through human use and environmental conditions. The incumbent will design/configure structures, oversee drawing production, choose appropriate foundation, building and equipment support material, inspect the construction work and ensure the structural soundness of foundations, buildings and structures.Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, designs and drawingsMake calculations about pressures, loads and stressesProvide technical advice on safe designs and constructionObtain planning and/or building regulations approvalLiaise with clients and professional staff such as architects and engineersMonitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundnessAdminister small sub-contracts and manage structural projectsInspect geotechnical properties to evaluate the conditions and foundationsUse computer aided design technology for simulation purposesIDEAL BACKGROUND:The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be excited by opportunities to add value to our clients with Jedson's engineering expertise. Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of work experience as a Structural EngineerExperience in industrial structural engineering.Experience in STAAD, AutoCAD and RevitExperience with steel, concrete and masonryExperience in heavy to light industrial projectsExperience with rotating and vibration analysisAdvanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulationsWill need to be a good communicator and able to manage multiple projects and clients at a timeLI-JH1LI-Hybrid
