SUMMARYBYD is currently driving an exciting transformation in the transportation industry, and we are recruiting a passionate and experienced sales manager to help us pave the road through the development and execution of truck sales target. You will be a member of BYD US truck team and play a key role in creating BYD EV truck history in US market.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSExpand existing sales, develop new sales and promote BYD Trucks providing exposure to high profile fleets in segments such as Drayage, Parcel, Refuse, TaaS, Food & BeverageExecute sales plans to maximize profitability and service levels throughout respective segments while meeting or exceeding sales goals Review and Complete RFPs as required for both new and existing customersDeliver sales presentations to a range of prospective fleets Make recommendations to production team in consideration with customer requirementsEnsure customer product requirements are effectively communicated to BYD engineering and aligned with third party upfittersParticipate in relevant trade shows when applicable to represent BYD Analyze EV market to develop strategic initiativesPrepare relevant sales reports as requiredManage segment relevant meetings with respective associationsCOMPETENCIESExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPointKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Problem solving with the ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Experience collaborating with others and building teamsREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 3 years of experience in Business to Business (B2B) SalesMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentPrior work experience in commercial truck or EV sales, preferredPrior work experience in FMC, Refuse, TaaS, Logistics, Food & Beverage, Upfitter segmentsKnowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Experience communicating with customers verbally to convey information and in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.Work independently take initiative and be resourceful with minimal supervisionExperience negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcomeDemonstrated experience analyzing data and generating reportsAbility to travel to various states within the U.S. to meet with customers and participate in trade showsMandarin is an asset.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
