fusionSpan is a fast-growing multinational information technology services company seeking a talented Salesforce Account Executive to join the team either remotely or from our headquarter in Rockville, MD. This is an opportunity to lead and grow a sales and marketing department at a growing, fast-paced global organization. The salesforce account executive will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain knowledge of current market conditions. This individual will work closely with product development, delivery, and finance to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. This role will grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients. This individual requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the competitors, and be well versed of fusionSpan's solutions/services offerings. Responsibilities:Identify and prospect for new potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.Research, build, and maintain relationships with new clients.Deliver approaches and pitches that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.Work with marketing staff to ensure that campaigns are effectively executedPresent new products and services and enhance existing relationships.Lead creation and distribution of content marketing materials - videos, blogs, podcasts, webinarsLead content editing and distribution of internal communicationsSupport staff with dynamic materials for newsletters, workshops, presentations, and eventsProvide creative direction for the development of graphic, web, and visual elementsCreate and manage all social media themes, messages, and calendar - LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and moreOwn and execute email campaigns, topics, key messages, and calendarIdentify and support public relations and media outreach as neededCollaborate with management, partners, and consultants on the development of the organization-wide brand platform, communication strategies, and key messagesIdentify, measure, and report success against organizational goals and across all channelsQualifications (Required)At least 5+ years leading sales and marketing within a growing, fast-paced technology environment Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externallyTrack record of managing and exceeding sales goalsAbility to quantify ROI on content marketing effortsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExperience with multiple email marketing platforms like Mailchimp and Constant ContactBachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field Qualifications (Preferred)Sales experience with Salesforce or Salesforce-based or related products is strongly preferredExperience in an AMS or CRM implementation business is strongly preferredProfessional services within a technology businessDeep knowledge and relationships in Association/non-profit space Experience in SaaS within a technology or consulting firmExperience collaborating on web design and content productionExperience working in a high growth startup environmentWhat We Offer:Health (PPO) dental & vision plan - 100% covered for employeeLong/Short-term disability insurance - 100% covered for employeeLife and AD&D insurance - 100% covered for employeeIRA with 3% matching contribution17 days of paid vacation - increases with tenure10 paid federal holidays12 weeks for parental leavefusionSpan is a fast-paced, high-energy firm with a highly motivated staff.
