Experienced in converting/migrating accounting systems from QuickBooks. Experience working with multiple entities. Candidate will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Responsibilities Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end and year-end close process.Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.Research and analyze expense variances for company management.Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.Assist with Tax audits and tax returns.Provide support for due diligence.Supervise, train and mentor junior accounting staff.Project oriented work as directed by the CFO or supervisor. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant fieldMinimum 4 years work experience in accountingThorough knowledge of accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.Excellent oral and written communication skillsProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Experienced in creating journal entries and bank reconciliations.Attention to detail and strong organization skills.Experience with meeting monthly close deadlines Preferred Health Care Industry experiencePE or VC experienceCPA licenseExperience using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.Experienced in converting/migrating accounting systems from QuickBooks.Experience working with multiple entities.
