Due to a recent promotion our Berkley plant has an immediate opening for an FSQA Manager - check it out!Top Reasons to Work with UsCompensation: Up to $110k +10% bonusWork Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8-5 with minimal OTBenefits: 401(k) & full medical/dental/visionStability/growth: up and company bakery founded by renowned pastry chef Brian WoodCulture: innovation and quality are at the forefront of everything we doWhat You Will Be DoingContinuous Improvement: Drive CI in Food Safety and Quality Assurance by supporting bakery team goals and KPIsPerformance Expectations: Set challenging metrics for microbiological performance, foreign material control, regulatory compliance and Food Safety programsPersonnel Management:Hire, motivate and develop personnel, ensuring effective staffing and management including performance evaluations and developmental trainingPolicy Implementation:Implement and improve standardized food safety and QA policies including GMP's, HACCP, AIMS and maintain documentationTraining and Communication:Provide training on quality, food safety and hygiene practices and clearly communicate department objectives through SOPsNon-Conformance Management: Review and support the completing of Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions, verify and gap assessmentsRegulatory and Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, lead bakery teams in meeting regulations, support during audits and oversee implementation of GFSI standards and the recall and traceability programR&D: Support new food development and work closely with R&D to help successfully launch new productsWhat You Need for this Position5+ years of FSQA experience within the Food and Beverage industry including...B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, Bio Chem or similarAt least two years in a supervisory capacityExposure to all aspects of Quality (Food Safety, Regulations, Formulations, QA/QC)Certifications: HACCP, GFSI and BRC or SQFAudit experience: GFSI, USDA, SQF, BRCStrong analytical skills such as statical analysis and critical thinkingMicrosoft Excel and SAPBenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
