Accordingly, we invite you to join our team.The Marketing Associate role is an exciting opportunity to join ESU's Marketing team. The person representing this role is responsible for owning our multiple brands' go-to-market strategy and execution, leading the cross-functional workflow for all market-making, product branding, and other department initiatives. Our Marketing team engages regularly out in the field, shoulder-to-shoulder with the sales team.The Marketing Associate will: Build and manage the brand representations across the US market, ensuring best-in-class content accuracy and functionality to maximize onsite conversions and syndication of assets across channels.Partner with the Marketing team and Sales team to execute strategic market-making strategies for new products and in-market initiatives, taking products to market through a fast paced, cross-functional marketing process.Develop and lead the cross-functional go-to-market planning for product refreshes in the U.S. and internationally; ensure on-time roll out with consistent, accurate communication across channels and departments to maximize revenue growth and brand success.Regularly post scheduled content on social media, web, and print platforms.Use data to determine what is and isn't working; support with performance tracking and equip the team with the data needed to make decisions.Research, analyze, and communicate the target customer and competitive landscape to successfully support the go-to-market process and deliver on strategic brand/product positioning.Ensure consistency of brand in value prop messaging and visual execution of our products across all sales channels, collateral, web content, customer and partner communications.Own the internal toolkit for product knowledge, assets, and resources.Attributes required for success in the role: Produce Industry Sales/Marketing experience - Distributor relationships are critical to ESU success. Ensuring we have the right partner for our brands is just as important as finding the best. A strong candidate will have Sales/Marketing background in creating and developing a portfolio of brands through effective third-party partnerships.Collaboration - Working together in cross-functional groups is a key to success at ESU.Project Management - Work ethic, responsiveness, and results orientation matter in every role at ESU. With everyone driving hard to achieve the company's goals, it is critical to have strong project planning skills and a structured approach to building repeatable and sustainable processes. You are organized, reliable, and love being a part of a broader team making great things happen.Communication - We aim to hire good communicators in every role, but it is an especially critical quality for the person joining our marketing team. This is a connective role with important interfaces across the entire company. You are skilled at structured and complete communication, and you are comfortable articulating what needs to be done when things are ambiguous.Process Improvement - We are increasing in our breadth and depth of our brands and products. Appropriately, we need to do so with greater efficiency while maintaining cohesive product branding, representation and messaging to effectively communicate the value proposition as a company. You are able to identify how processes are built and improved to promote cross-functional integration for successful product launches.Social media, Print Media, and public relations knowledge and experience is a plus.Qualifications and attributes:1+ years of experience with produce-product marketing or related field in produce in the B2B and B2C space.Strength in earning business relationships, conducting effective business meetings to open new markets.Strength in project management and detail orientation is essential. Fluency in project management tools such as Jira is a plus.Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience in managing complex product catalogs - fruit and produce industry experience preferred.Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines.Ability to work and remain adaptable in a fluid, fast-paced environment.Creative and resourceful.Flexibility with schedule and willingness to work outside normal business hours to collaborate with global partners when needed.Job Type: Full-time, In-Person.Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632Office Hours: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (M-F)ESU is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all forms.
