This position requires admission to practice law in New York State (or eligibility to waive into NYS) and 2-7 years of real estate law experience.Requirements:Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to waive in)2-7 years of experience in real estate lawProficiency in commercial and residential real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and financingExperience negotiating contracts, reviewing due diligence, finalizing conveyance documents, and completing closingsExpertise in commercial and residential leasing, including negotiating terms and enforcementStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsPreferred Experience:Working with institutional lenders and preparing loan documentsReviewing title documents and preparing title insuranceHandling lease enforcement in courtInvolvement in real property litigationAdvising on zoning and land use applicationsForming homeowners' associations or condominiumsAssisting with entity formation and drafting governing documentsDuties:Prepare, review, and organize real estate transaction documentsConduct legal research and develop strategies for client needsHandle real estate litigation matters, including court appearancesPrepare and complete zoning and land use applications, including municipal board submissions and appearancesJoin us to work within a supportive team, leveraging your skills to achieve positive outcomes for our clients.
