Commercial Construction Superintendent

Our client in Bear, DE is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to join their team. This is a direct hire position. This position offers $75k - $95k based on experience.Essential Duties:Providing leadership and establishing and maintaining effective and positive relationships with and amongst contractors, employees, vendors, government officials, and the publicManaging all contractors and the performance of any direct on site employeesDirecting all field personnel to complete quality projects on schedule, within budget, and within the scope of plans and specificationsScheduling inspections with proper authorities while cooperating with the inspection agenciesInspecting work in progress to ensure that it conforms to specifications and construction schedulesIdentifying and addressing any issues within the projectsProcuring materialsSupervising final punch and performing punch duties as necessaryCollaborate with Project Managers on the supervision of all work operationsEnsuring subcontractors are adhering to all safety procedures and programsRunning and maintaining scheduling softwareQualifications & Skills:Five years experience supervising multi family construction projectsFive years experience in Building ConstructionThree years of supervising experienceThorough knowledge of project objectives, subcontracts, contract drawings, and specificationsExperience with computer software including Mircosoft Office, Mircosoft Project, and Procore Project Management software.
