Job Description: Membership and Marketing ManagerTitle: Membership and Marketing Manager Reports to: CEO Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Wage: $25 - $30 / hour with performance bonuses Supervisory Responsibility: Does not have supervisory responsibility for any staff.ABC Value Proposition: Based on the merit shop philosophy, we help our members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethnically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which they live and work.Core Values: Be Exceptional, Be Relational, & Be CandidPosition Overview: The Membership & Marketing Manager for our construction trade association plays a vital role in driving membership growth and building strong relationships within our industry. This position is responsible for new member recruitment and retention across Eastern & Central WA and Idaho, focusing on commercial construction entities, suppliers, and professional service firms. This full-time hybrid position based in Spokane, WA requires technology proficiency, travel, and dedication to promoting our association's mission. Membership Recruitment and Sales:? Achieve new member growth goals for the Inland Pacific Chapter.? Travel within the chapter's geographical boundaries to recruit new members.? Manage a budget to attain member growth and retention goals.? Develop and maintain CRM tools.? Initiate contact with prospective members, provide relevant ABC information, and conduct follow-ups.? Develop and execute membership recruitment campaigns.? Conduct new member on-boarding and engagement efforts.? Organize and conduct new member orientation meetings.? Participate in industry, chapter, and community networking events.? Facilitate the Chapter Membership Committee.? Compile and create recruitment statistics and reports.? Develop and execute retention strategies to ensure member engagement. Marketing & Communication:? Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the association.? Lead planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and print.? Oversee content distribution and maintain a communication schedule.Job Description: Membership and Marketing Manager? Ensure the Chapter website content is accurate and relevant.? Create marketing materials, including brochures and presentations.? Manage the association's brand identity and ensure consistency across all channels. National and Industry Responsibilities:? Attend ABC National Sales Trainings and implement sales strategies.? Develop rapport with ABC staff, Board of Directors, and Chapter members.? Present Membership Growth/Retention Reports.? Serve as staff liaison to the Membership Committee.? Coordinate member outreach with Chapter staff.? Promote member services and programs.? Stay knowledgeable about legislative developments and industry trends.? Assist the President and Board with other duties as requested. Competencies:? Professional demeanor and appearance.? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Strong interpersonal skills.? Commitment to free enterprise and Merit Shop Philosophy.? Sales methodologies knowledge (e.g., Sandler Sales Method).? Independent, self-motivated, and goal oriented.? Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Requirements:? Proficiency in Microsoft Office.? Experience with sales methodologies (e.g., Sandler Sales Method).? Exceptional organizational skills.? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.? Understanding of the commercial construction industry.? Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.? Degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).? Experience in membership organizations or trade associations (preferred). ADA Requirements:? Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.? Travel within the chapter's geographical boundaries.
