DataStaff is in need of a Technical Writer / Project Coordinator for one of our direct clients in the Richmond, VA area for a long-term contract opportunity. This position is hybrid; the selected candidate will be required to attend monthly meetings onsite in Richmond and come on site as needed and when requested by the Manager.Job Description:In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation while coordinating project timelines and resources to ensure successful project execution.Technical Writing:Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and system specifications.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and clarify technical details.Edit and proofread documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.Create and maintain documentation templates and standards to improve efficiency and quality.Project Coordination:Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and action items.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.Required Skills:3 Years - Experience in technical writing and project coordination3 Years - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex security concepts in a clear and relatable manner.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desired Skills:3 Years - Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and products. Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO) is a plus.3 Years - Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to convey complex information clearly.3 Years - Proficient in documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Confluence).3 Years - Familiarity with project management software3 Years - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.3 Years - Strong verbal and written communication skills.Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management principles.This opportunity is available as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
