MEDIA SUPERVISOR Summary of Position:Responsible for overseeing plan execution (strategic planning & plan implementation) that translates clients' marketing and advertising objectives into overarching media campaigns and works within a cohesive cross-platform media recommendation. Develop unique interactive plans, inclusive of custom programs, that are consistent with approved strategies and budget. Essential Functions:Lead team (Planners & Assistants) in day-to-day responsibilitiesOversee completion of daily assignments, including but not limited to: reporting, tagging/trafficking, optimizing, negotiating, gathering screenshots, vendor communication & meetings, custom creative review, sending RFPs, planning (including slide/deck development), billing (client & vendor), internal/external status updates, research projects, etc.Understanding of social platforms especially Meta (FB/IG) with other platforms a major plus (YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc). Experience activating digital media including planning, trafficking, optimizing, and reportingUtilize planning tools such as comScore, MRI and other resources to create high level media plan strategyExpress understanding of client objectives through sound strategic recommendations and associated rationaleCreate decks for media recommendations which thoroughly and clearly explain/showcase recommendationsCommunicate with and inspire clients via phone, email or in-person interactionReview/QA reporting generated by junior team membersWrite client-facing POVs to evaluate media opportunitiesResponsible for keeping up-to-date billing charts and working with billing department to ensure all bills are paidFollow, analyze, and optimize against digital trends and the latest technological advancements in media landscapeContribute to strategy and brainstorming sessions for new clients and pitchesManage multiple accounts and excel at multi tasking. Potential of working on ad-hoc requests as needed.Organizational RelationshipsPosition Reports To: Associate Media DirectorQualification RequirementsBachelor degree is required Discipline Specific SkillsMust have 4-5+ years of relevant media planning and buying experience in various mediums with an emphasis on digitalLStrong working competency in these specific digital tactics:Digital Display/VideoRich Media/Custom ContentSocial Media ChannelsProgrammatic MarketplaceExposure to traditional media platforms (TV, Print, and Out-of-Home) Experience managing others Experience working in an integrated capacity with Planning, Activation and Creative teams Knowledge and understanding of tools and resources such as comScore, MRI, Kantar, DCM, etc. Familiar with various forms of digital pricing models (CPM, CPC, CPV, CPA, CPCV, etc.) and when to leverage eachAbility to use third party ad servers to traffic media campaigns and pull reports; experience with DCM is crucialProficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google DocsExceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees & clientsStrong time management skillsAttention to detail and advanced follow-through skillsSalary Range: 90-110k
