We're adding a Product Marketing Manager to our small but impactful product marketing team. In this highly technical role, you will support B2B clients in the industrial, engineering, tech, manufacturing, and machining sectors. Your key responsibilities will include leading research and technical copywriting for foundational messaging, coordinating and creating case studies, and developing and deploying content for blogs, emails, and social media. You'll also work closely with the team to support website launches and PPC advertising strategies, including research, creative development, campaign deployment, management, and analytics reporting.We are seeking candidates local to West Michigan or those willing to relocate, as collaboration and growth with our team are important to us.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong, trusting relationships between clients and the agency, providing leadership during campaign strategy, ideation, execution, and performance reporting.Have genuine interest and confidence working with technical products, startups, and projects focused around engineering, manufacturing, and machining.Be an agile, adaptable collaborator that thrives in ambiguous environments, and loves bringing calm to chaos in fast-paced settings.Conduct keyword, copy, and audience research for client brands and competitors.Write technical copy for product marketing, SEO optimization, and ad campaigns.Develop foundational messaging through research and technical copywriting.Coordinate, create, and deploy project summaries and case studies.Develop and publish client content for blogs, emails, and social media channels.Create and publish social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube, collaborating with our Creative Strategist.Assist with website launches and updates by coordinating, creating, and publishing content.Support Creative Strategist in optimizing paid media channels including facilitating research, creative development, campaign management, day-to-day ROI optimization, and synthesis of actionable insights.Manage media assets, including photo and video exporting, sharing, and publishing.Collaborate with creative strategists, content producers, and website developers.SpecsExperience: 4-8 years in product and digital marketingEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldLocation: Grand Rapids, MI (with remote flexibility)Paid Time Off (PTO): Unlimited after 3 months, including mandatory holidaysBenefits: Eligible for bonuses after 12 monthsSalary: $60,000 - $80,000 based on skills and experiencePerksModern, dedicated workstation with the latest tools and technologyAccess to a fully equipped content production studio in a vibrant urban areaOn-site role with the option for remote work days and moderately flexible hoursStrong opportunities for career growth and developmentOptional travel, up to 5%ToolsApple DevicesGoogle Workspace (slides, sheets, docs)AsanaSlackMilanoteAdobe LightroomAdobe Premiere ProCanvaFigmaGoogle AdsGoogle AnalyticsHubspotMeta Business Suite, Facebook, InstagramLinkedInYouTubeMailchimpWebflowWordpressAbout Montgomery CodeMontgomery Code is a boutique product marketing studio that partners with businesses locally, nationally, and globally to enhance their marketing capabilities.
