We are excited to partner with our long time client, a distinguished and highly ranked global law firm known for its collegial culture, on a critical search for a lateral partner recruitment professional. This role is part of a dynamic two-person team that reports to an exceptional director, focusing on sourcing top talent in the U.S. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience from mid to large-sized law firms, having worked extensively at the partner level. We're seeking a proactive relationship builder with a passion for recruitment, ready to contribute creatively and effectively to the firm's growth.The position offers a hybrid working model, requiring three days in the Chicago office, with minimal travel involved. Requirements follow below:A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; a JD or MBA is preferred.At least 9 years of professional recruitment experience in a client-service setting, with substantial involvement in partner-level hiring, is necessary.Experience with lateral hiring in an agency or law firm is highly desirable.Familiarity with legal recruiting software and the relevant market is a plus; proficiency in applicant tracking systems and the MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is mandatory.Advanced skills in virtual communication platforms such as Teams, WebEx, and Zoom are essential.Strong interpersonal skills to build credible relationships with recruiters and candidates at all levels.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Capability to understand the firm's strategy, strengths, and objectives to identify appropriate candidates.Knowledge of the Chicago legal market and awareness of competing firms' services.Ability to develop operational plans that align with business goals.Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to follow through on initiatives.Effective team player with strong organizational capabilities.Commitment to professionalism and maintaining strict confidentiality.Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment.
