Fun Company Activities Many MoreJob DetailsAs a Sr. Propulsion Design Engineer at Impulse Space you will own all aspects of propulsion component design from concept to product realization, while working closely with a fast-paced, agile team that strives to make a high-performance spacecraft from a clean sheet design.ResponsibilitiesDesign propulsion system valves and actuators Own all aspects of component design from concept to product realization Layout complex and highly integrated fluid and mechanical systemsGenerate detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings Perform fluid, thermal, and structural analysis as required Work with the team and external sources to procure materials, fabricate parts, and complete assemblies Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or related field 6+ years of experience with flight propulsion components including cryogenic, high-pressure, and high performance applications6+ years of hands-on experience working with fluid, electrical and mechanical systemsDemonstrated proficiency in CAD software with ability to learn new software tools Demonstrated ability in requirements definition, conceptual design, procurement, fabrication, assembly and testing of hardwareInterested in hearing more?
