Job Overview:The Director of Catering and Sales is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. You will lead the sales and catering team, build relationships with clients, and identify new business opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of the bakery industry, a passion for baked goods, and a proven track record in sales and catering event management.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Planning:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business growth objectives.Set annual sales targets and create action plans to reach those goals.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary.Team Leadership & Development:Lead, manage, and mentor the in-house catering admin ensuring they are equipped to meet individual and collective targets.Provide ongoing training, development, and motivation to ensure team success.Lead, manage and mentor the catering production teamCollaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure event executionMarket Research & Business Development:Identify new sales opportunities, including potential wholesale clients, partnerships, and corporate accounts.Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Expand the bakery's presence in both B2B and B2C markets, including online and offline channels.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, retailers, and partners.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers and suppliers.Act as a brand ambassador, representing the bakery at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements.
