Andrews & Cole is currently partnering with a well-established real estate company in Newport Beach that is looking for a Senior Manager, Asset Management to add to the Multifamily Asset Management team. The role requires current multifamily asset management experience with a portfolio of large market-rate properties. The Sr. Asset Manager will report to the Director of Asset Management and work a hybrid schedule (Monday and Friday remote, Tuesday through Thursday onsite). This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and high-performing team!RESPONSIBILITIES:Working cross-functionally within the organization on the development, creation, and approval of property-level business plans and annual budgetsReviewing monthly financial and operating reports to measure property and portfolio performance against budgets and business plansLeading monthly financial reviews with Property Management to communicate areas of concern/opportunities and coordinate action items to ensure operational goals (NOI growth, occupancy targets, capital projects, etc.) are being met or exceededPreparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to property and portfolio performance to budget, internal and external benchmarks, and established goalsMonitoring and analyzing market and economic conditions along with capital trends and factors impacting the performance of the assigned portfolioWorking with 3rd Party Management to ensure operations are by strategic business plan/budget and provide guidance consistent with company standards and objectivesPerforming property visits in the assigned portfolio to evaluate building presentation, capital project/development progress, market comparables, and submarket climateWorking with the Director of Asset Management in the administration and implementation of new processes, key performance metrics, reporting, and presentations to internal stakeholders and senior leadershipLeading or assisting in the due diligence and underwriting of potential acquisitions, repositions, dispositions, and developmentsAssisting with the management, training, and development of the Asset Management AnalystsPreparing and presenting various ad hoc analyses as neededQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree preferably in business-real estate, economics, finance, or accountingFive or more years of experience in a similar role in multi-family real estate, specifically asset management of large market-rate properties.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA is a plus but not required)Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Power BIHighly analytical, technologically savvy, with strong problem-solving skillsRealPage/Intacct accounting system experience is not required but is a plusFor immediate consideration please email your resume to rdesantiago@.
