The C-Corp Tax Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the tax aspects of our investment portfolios. This position requires a deep understanding of tax regulations, C-Corp products, and the ability to develop strategies that minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance.Key Responsibilities: Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax-efficient investment strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance after-tax returns for clients. Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with relevant tax laws and regulations. Prepare and review tax returns and filings related to investment portfolios. Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed tax analysis and reporting for investment portfolios. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on investment strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio managers, financial advisors, and other internal stakeholders to provide tax guidance and support for investment decisions. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks associated with investment activities. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to tax policies and procedures. Client Support: Serve as a tax advisor for high-net-worth clients, providing insights and recommendations to optimize their investment tax strategies. Training and Development: Mentor and train junior tax professionals within the department. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to maintain a high level of expertise.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification required. Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in C-Corp work Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations as they relate to investments. Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial analysis tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations and apply them to investment strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
