Job DescriptionAviation Seat BuilderSalary: $27+/hourLocation: Windsor Locks, CT 06096Industry: AviationShiftsMonday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm (3-day weekends!)Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of relevant work experiencePrior experience building aircraft seats (and/or luxury automobile and/or boat seats)Prior interiors experience on aircraft upholstery (ex. previous soft goods experience, upholstery experience remove & installs in aircraft)Demonstrated mechanical aptitudeDemonstrated ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings preferred. Basic computer skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status. Job Duties: Adhere to Company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform work in a safe and timely manner.
