The SMT Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and performing PCB assembly.This position will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the SMT process.Responsibilities Include The FollowingSet up and operate SMT machines and equipmentLoad and unload materials onto the SMT machineMonitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper placement of components on PCBsInspect boards for defects and troubleshoot any issues with the SMT processPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaningFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaWork collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlinesKeep accurate records and documentation of production activitiesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, with Associates or Bachelors degree a PLUSAt least 2 years of experience operating SMT machines in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of SMT processes and equipment, including surface mount machinesFamiliarity with PCB assembly techniques and electronic componentsAbility to read and interpret technical documents and schematicsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracyExcellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityBasic computer skills and experience with data entry and record keepingStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent communication and teamwork skills.BenefitsLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
