Controls Engineer-Baltimore, MDPosition OverviewWe are a top Manufacturing company seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for our manufacturing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI control systems for manufacturing equipmentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency and qualityManage and maintain robotic systems, including 6-axis robots and machine vision technologyDevelop and implement new control strategies to ensure high standards of safety, productivity, and qualityProvide technical support and training to production staffMaintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulationsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on emerging technologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field4+ years of experience in Controls Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCsExperience with Eplan or other electrical design software preferredExperience with 6-axis robots and machine vision technologyExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyBenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision insuranceGenerous PTO401k with company matchShort and Long term disabilityPet insuranceEmployee referral bonus programTuition Assistance/reimbursementEmployee discount programEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
