Construction Controller - Relocation OR travel to Bermuda $120,000 - $150,000About the company: This client is a well-established and highly regarded construction company with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. They are committed to delivering excellence in construction projects, including their latest venture, a $90 million contract in Bermuda. This company values innovation, quality, and a dedication to creating exceptional spaces that cater to the needs of their clients and guests.About the Construction Controller opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Construction Controller to join this team and play a pivotal role in the latest project in Bermuda. The Construction Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of this high-value project, ensuring financial controls, and supporting the successful execution of the construction contract. This would be a paid relocation for the 2 year project with housing/transportation paid OR traveling to and from Bermuda two weeks of the month.Key Responsibilities of the Construction Controller:Manage and oversee the financial operations of the $90 million construction project in Bermuda, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and financial regulations.Work closely with project managers and senior management to provide accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to monitor project costs, revenue, and overall financial performance.Monitor and analyze project financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for cost-saving measures.Prepare financial reports, budgets, and financial statements for senior management and stakeholders.Collaborate with external auditors, lenders, and other financial institutions as needed.Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and accounting systems for the project.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting requirements in Bermuda.Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for the construction project.Provide financial guidance and support for decision-making processes related to the project.Oversee the financial team and coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with project goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.Proven experience as a Controller in construction or real estate industry, with a track record of managing large-scale projects.Familiarity with international accounting standards and Bermuda tax regulations is a plus. #INSEP2024 #ZRCFS #LI-KH1
