The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law, with a particular focus on FLSA class actions and appellate briefing.Represent employers in complex wage and hour class actions, including FLSA collective actionsDraft and argue dispositive motions in federal and state courtsPrepare appellate briefs for cases before federal and state appellate courtsAdvise clients on compliance with federal and state employment lawsConduct internal investigations related to employment mattersAssist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparationQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials5 years of experience in labor and employment law at a reputable law firmDemonstrated experience with FLSA class actions and appellate briefingStrong research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlinesAdmission to the Massachusetts Bar requiredPreferred Experience:Clerkship experience with a federal judgeExperience arguing motions in federal courtPublication record in labor and employment law journalsWe offer a collegial work environment, competitive salary, and comprehensive benefits package.
