You will also provide client management and new business development activities in partnership with the local team.Responsibility Highlights for our Sr. Resident Engineer - TransportationTechnical Leadership:Manages day-to-day construction management/construction inspection operations on-site, including oversight of construction contractor operations and oversight of subcontractorsManage contract administration, monitor schedules, address claims, and process RFIs, submittals, and change ordersEnsure project adherence to approved plans, budget, and timelinesLead daily coordination with clients, contractors, designers, and regulatory agenciesFacilitate project delivery and resolve issues promptly and effectivelyBusiness Development:Identify and pursue opportunities to grow client relationships and establish new partnership.Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals, participate during the interview process and secure new projects.Key Requirements:Valid CA PE License 10+ years' experience in construction management/project management on transportation projects Proven ability to win new work Experience participating in the development of proposals / the interview process Caltrans Experience preferredInterested in hearing more?
