Under the supervision of the Sr. Warehouse Manager, Inventory control Lead maintains stock integrity and works with the warehouse team to trouble shoot inventory and system issues.Client DetailsMy client is a growing food manufacturing and distribution company.DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Maintain accurate inventories of raw materials and components at all timesMaintain proper inventory levels of labelsAssure accurate picking and staging of raw materials and components for production in a timely manner to avoid manufacturing delays and complete the returns from the process areas daily Match all labels with batch recordsHave complete knowledge of WMS inventory controls (stock checks, stock takes, stock check on radio, etc.)Ensure AFS and WMS are concurrent and replicating the correct stock on hand and available Report findings/concerns to Management and ensure tasks appointed are completedUnderstand burn rates and be able to see and suggest changes in amount ordered along with understanding min/max inventory levelsCommunicate with Scheduling & Marketing on new labels/discontinuedTrack and keep film levels with procurement and Inventory Control ManagerCoordinate with other team leads in the box making scheduleKeep an updated inventory on backstock boxes madeUpdate and track inventory on coats and bibs/pants for warehouse staffMaintain a cleaning schedule of the Mezzanine as well as being part of the cleaning teamRead and understand processing schedule to pull consumablesReceive and sort UPS/FEDEX/vendors orders as they come inCycle count consumables dailyRun box machine and make changes mechanically as neededCoordinate with warehouse on returns (consumables)Maintain a safe work environmentPersonal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and GMP guidelinesAny additional task set forth by the Warehouse Management, within scope and abilityProfileHigh School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Strong work ethic, communication skills in English and ability to communicate clearly and concisely across departmentsBasic Excel skills 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experienceForklift Certification within 90 days of job entry dateAbility to lift a maximum of 60 poundsAbility to maintain regular and predictable attendanceAbility to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measurementsAble to pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug tests as requestedJob OfferMedicalDentalVisionPTOParental Leave401kMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
