Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing Designer or Draftsperson to join our team onsite in Tampa, FL.This role will be responsible for creating detailed plumbing system designs and drawings for commercial, hospitality, and multi-family projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, proficiency in Revit, and excellent communication skills - but we are also very open to developing someone in this space with proven Revit experience.Responsibilities: Prepare detailed plumbing design drawings and schematics for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create accurate and comprehensive plumbing layouts, including piping systems, fixtures, and equipment. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure plumbing designs integrate seamlessly with overall project plans. Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes, flow rates, and pressure requirements. Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and project proposals. Staying current with advancements in plumbing technology and design practices.Qualifications:Draftsperson: No MEP design experience is required but must be familiar with and have had some experience using Revit. Designer: Minimum of 2 years experience using Revit & AutoCAD for MEP design; does not have to be plumbing-specific. Solid understanding of plumbing systems and principles preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
