Summary of Duties:Under the Supervision of the Divisional Controller and the Local Business Manager, this position must be capable to work and oversee several different functions of the Finance Department and Office Management. This will include General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, as well as some Payroll. Employee must be adaptable to change and willing to learn multiple functions as he/she may accommodate certain advanced Accounting procedures.Essential Functions:Perform month end closing procedures, reporting, and reconciliation to corporate.Responsible for Inventory management transactions to maintain accurate perpetual values within SAPAssist with the development of managerial reporting for product managers and special analytical projects for managementCoordinate Invoicing and AP Plus help resolve processing issues with central servicesDevelopment of General Ledger Accounting Analysis (B/S)Development of Expense Analysis as neededAssist in the research and response of internal, financial inquiriesEnsure that company policies are adhered to by business entityAll other duties, in accordance with parameters and establishedBusiness Support Functions:Help site leadership promote a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.Maintain office services and organize office operations including office and site maintenance in line with budgets/needsPoint person for office maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, billsPartner with HR to maintain office policies as necessaryManage select budgets, relationships, and contracts with vendors and service providersPhysical Abilities and Environment:Work is performed in an office environmentRequires the ability to use a PCPhysical positions while performing duties include: sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching and kneelingPhysical capabilities require lifting up to 20 lbs., intermittently. Good mobility to travel from department to department including stairwaysGood sense of sight, hearing and touch required to communicate with internal and external customersEducation, Experience, Skills:4-yr college degree (Accounting Degree preferred but not required)Manufacturing Accounting experienceAccounting Background with 2-5 yrs experienceComputer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAPConfidentiality essentialStrong financial acumen and analytical skillsSolid oral and written communication skills requiredMust be a self-starter
