CIE Tours makes it easy for travelers to immerse themselves in a new place with exclusive access, authentic experiences, and in-depth knowledge that, in the spirit of Celtic heritage, often begins with a story.SUMMARY:Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director of Partner & Product Marketing is responsible for all B2B marketing, companywide promotional strategy and PR initiatives. The Director leads staff involved in development and delivery of partner marketing and trade advertising plans, all aspects of sales support, coordination of offers/promotions to drive business, public relations, and media communications. Success in this role is dependent on the ability to develop targeted campaigns, ensure successful execution, analyze and communicate results, and apply learnings to future activity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Manage partner marketing and trade advertising on time and on budget per annual partner plans including monthly spend management, forecasts, accruals and ROI measurement. In partnership with sales, analyze account performance to make informed recommendations on partner marketing initiatives to help maintain or increase sales levels.Recommend trade marketing spend and ensure successful campaign execution. Deliver partner and B2B communication activities in collaboration with sales, contact center and other commercial leaders.Development and maintenance of travel agent marketing resources including responsibility for the travel agent education platform and travel agent portal.Act as liaison with Creative/Content to fulfill all aspects of marketing support to the sales team include support for trade shows, promotional items, custom collateral and sales presentations. Maintain library of turnkey presentations for sales team to use with B2B partners as well as a kit of parts to support ad hoc creation by the BDMs.Help sales execute on travel agent incentives including maintenance of fulfillment platform.Update partner intranets/website with brand and product promotions and campaigns through the year.Leverage digital tools for B2B marketing success, including TA Connect and other platformsEstablish collaborative working relationships and communication with commercial colleagues in digital marketing, creative/content, sales, contact center, groups and air department, as well as stakeholder teams in operations, product, revenue management, HR and finance. For all partner marketing and promotional strategies, analyze campaign results and incorporate insights into future initiativesManage promotional strategies (both companywide and partner specific) and product launch campaigns.Oversee public relations and media communications.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience8-10+ years progressive experience marketing experience within tour, cruise or similar segment of the escorted and/or scheduled travel industry, including several years leading a team of marketing staffProficiency in industry B2B including travel agents, consortia, national accounts and tourism boardsStrong communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - to communicate strategies and results throughout the organization.Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and Office 365Highly organized self-starter who can work independently and flexibly in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in developing marketing programs that support partner relationships while helping to achieve the company's business objectivesDeep understanding of how measure marketing effectiveness.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and manage a variety of personalities especially under deadlines.
