Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll for large workforces, ensuring compliance with federal and state wage laws, and conducting audits. Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent work skills are essential.What You'll Do:Process weekly payrolls for 1500-2500 employees across multiple locations.Ensure compliance with federal and state wage laws.Accurately upload hours from POS and back-office systems.Advise managers on Payroll/HRIS processes, including time reporting and benefits.Manage payroll processes for leaves, rehires, wage adjustments, and terminations.Maintain audit reports and handle year-end payroll tasks (W-2/1099 reporting).Handle employment verifications, garnishments, and compliance filings (EEO, 5500, IRS).Oversee third-party payroll vendors and recommend system improvements.What Will Make You Successful:7-10 years of payroll management experience, including multi-state and high-volume payrolls.CPP certification preferred; experience with HRIS/Payroll systems and ACA compliance.Retail or QSR payroll experience is a plus.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficient in Excel and Word; accounting degree and UKG Ready experience a plus.Interested in hearing more?
