Our client is seeking a CADDesigner for Bath to join the team temporarily on a hybrid schedule in NYC. Responsibilities:Develop all artwork needs for bath brands (concepts, layouts, repeats, colorings, coordinates, etc.) suitable for presentation to customers and development packets to send to vendorsDesign and development process start to finish: creating design concepts, creating final artwork, creating specs, communication with mills, reviewing and approving samples in a timely mannerMaintaining an organized design file system and sample management system Responsible for following procedures and understanding the importance of system processes to ensure efficient and successful projectsPassing updates to the Product Manager with current status of design projects as neededMeeting deadlines in a timely manner and communicating status updates on projects to Bath Designer on a regular basisResponsible for providing product designs and meeting materials/presentations for internal and external meetings by working closely with the Sales and Merchandising staff Responsible for maintaining awareness of current design trends through regular review of industry publicationsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience3-5+ years of CAD experience, some within bath products. Relevant portfolio displaying CAD / bath experience. Demonstrated ability to create original design sketches and successful product linesProficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.Must be based near NYC.
