Covered expenses for CLE, bar dues, and approved voluntary bar memberships.Job DetailsResponsibilities: Immediate client contact and assumption of responsibilities Demonstrate experience in taking ownership of a client's case - discovery, pleadings, motions, collaboration, and mediation; pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trials Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of our clients Advise our clients on business and legal transactions Negotiate settlements of legal disputes Litigating personal injury cases in a courtroom environment Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work The ability to attend/appear in court or before government agencies in New Jersey Comply with all legal standards and regulations Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of lawEducation/Experience Requirements: 3+ years of Personal Injury experience JD degree New Jersey Bar Admission is required Experience researching complex mattersQualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients Ability to work independently and multi-task required Previous experience as a trial court law clerk is a plus but not necessary Ability to build rapport with opposing counsel and/or clients Personable and professionalInterested in hearing more?
