Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Broker Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks within a mortgage brokerage, with expertise in various operational functions critical to our success.LOCATION - SHERMAN OAKS, CA THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTEKey Responsibilities:Complete mortgage broker approval packages accurately and efficiently.Maintain and update a comprehensive database of lender approvals and compensation agreements.Compile and organize legal documents essential for the organization's operations.Preview and test new technologies relevant to the loan manufacturing process, assessing their potential value before presentation to the CEO.Assist loan officers with the registration and locking of loans on lender websites.Address day-to-day inquiries and requests from operations staff and loan officers regarding loans and system-related questions.Update and maintain product and pricing engine software to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.Identify and resolve software issues to enhance operational efficiency.Provide training to loan officers on new technologies and systems, ensuring they are equipped to utilize them effectively.Qualifications:4+ year experience in industryBachelors degree (plus)Proven experience in administrative roles within a mortgage brokerage.Proficiency in completing mortgage broker approval packages.Familiarity with loan registration and locking processes.Knowledge of mortgage compliance laws and regulations.Experience with Encompass loan origination software.Ability to run and interpret credit reports.Understanding of Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector findings.Experience with mortgage systems and operational processes.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday - In person Hourly + Benefits
