We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join us as the first in house member of our company's HR team. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of HR functions and demonstrate leadership capabilities in overseeing daily HR operations. The HR Manager will implement initiatives, support business objectives, and provide guidance in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, policy development, training, DEI, and HRIS management. Apply now for immediate consideration.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee 3rd Party HR Provider (general HR, payroll, benefits and 401(k) management, etc.)Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding performance issues, employee development, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.Lead the recruitment process, including job postings.Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.Manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely evaluations, feedback sessions, and development plans.Support managers in setting goals and managing performance improvements.Oversee compensation strategies, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local laws.Lead audits and maintain employee records in compliance with legal standards.Assist in developing and updating HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.Communicate policies effectively across the organization.Identify training needs and manage the implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.Track and report key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and training effectiveness.Use data to recommend improvements to HR strategies.Promote and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.Oversee the management and maintenance of the HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) to ensure accurate employee data and reporting capabilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in a broad HR role.Minimum 2 years in a managerial capacity.Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now), and Microsoft Office Suite.HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is preferred.Note: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
