We are partnering with a growing premier yacht yard in their search for a MARINE SERVICE ADVISOR! Responsibilities:Communicate with customers in person, via phone, and text, listening to their service needs and providing updates accordinglyProvide detailed explanations of services needed and estimated costs involvedReview service history and manufacturer guidelines to recommend necessary maintenance or repairsPartner with service technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards; communicate clearly with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairsMonitor the status of ongoing repairs and keep customers updated on progressPresent customers with options for additional repairs or services as neededAssist in managing warranty and insurance claims, ensuring all relevant paperwork and communications are processed correctly and in a timely mannerFacilitate the delivery or pick up of vessels with customers, ensuring all issues have been resolved and the customer is satisfiedFollow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat businessDocument and keep all systems and software updated Perform other related duties as assignedRequirements:100% positive attitude required, no exceptions. 3+ years' experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within the marine industry.Working knowledge of marine vessels, service needs, systems, and repair processes.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn proprietary software and scheduling systems; Salesforce experience a plusCustomer-oriented; ability to clearly communicate technical details with empathyAbility to multitask and prioritize multiple service requests simultaneouslyExperience operating a Forklift is a plusWillingness to cross train across Parts and Shipping & Receiving to provide coverage as neededBilingual in Spanish is extremely beneficialAbility to work overtime as needed, with focus on spring and fall seasons
