The ideal candidate will have a strong background in board reporting, corporate governance, and overall compliance matters. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage complex compliance issues and provide critical support to our legal and executive teams.Key Responsibilities:1.Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining corporate compliance programs2.Prepare and distribute board meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and reports3.Support corporate governance initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures4.Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting the company's operations5.Conduct research on compliance-related issues and prepare summary reports6.Assist in drafting and reviewing corporate policies and procedures7.Coordinate and support internal compliance audits and investigations8.Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation and records9.Liaise with various departments to ensure company-wide compliance10.Assist in preparing regulatory filings and reports11.Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs12.Assist in managing the company's whistleblower hotline and related investigationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on compliance, corporate governance, and board reportingStrong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databasesAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications:Paralegal certificationExperience in a publicly traded companyFamiliarity with compliance management softwareInterested in hearing more?
