Connections Personnel is hiring for a Direct Hire Human Resources Specialist position for our client located Somerset.Looking for an out motivated individual.Supports Human Resources by serving as a link in handling work-related issues, investigations, leaves of absences, and benefits administration. Ensure compliance with corporate policy, fair employment practices and government regulations.Conduct investigations on employee relations issues: Sexual Harassment, Grievances, Safety, Etc.Provides guidance to supervisors/managers for any HR issues including hiring, firing and disciplining.Cooperate with HR HQ to process worker's comp claims reporting and coordinate investigations and process Group 2 payroll in timely manner.Oversees and maintains NJ Timeclock and updates pay polices, holiday, etc. on AMG.Update Job requirements and job description for all positionsRecommends forms and policies compliant with federal and state laws and updates old ones.Tracks employees' probationary periods training warnings, and certifications and makes sure employees are up to date.Attend seminars and webinars to keep up to date with upcoming laws and procedures and inform other HR members of any changes.Be proficient in company policies and procedures.Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.Handle and track leaves such as FMLA, NJFLAAdminister Disciplinary/Counseling Actions, and Terminations.Ensure all legal postings are accessible and posted according to legislative compliance.Ensure all work authorizations are up to date.Coordinate with Production and logistic dept. to process staffs' agencies timecard.Provides technical support for company cellphones.Assistant Admin. and General Affairs when needed.SALARY $25.00 a hourWorking ScheduleMon to Fri 8:30 to 5:30(including 1hour unpaid meal break)After probation, hybrid working schedule(2days WFH)BENEFITS:MedicalDentalVisionSick PayRequired Skills3-5 years' experience in HRBachelor's degree in related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skills.Benefits Administration knowledgeMicrosoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointAdobe: Illustrator and PhotoshopMust have high morals and work ethic.Adherence to confidentiality
