We offer competitive salary and equity benefits alongside excellent benefits.Job DetailsWe are currently struggling with OTD and looking for someone who can help us get back on track.The Master Planning & Production Scheduler is responsible for overall leadership, coordination, and communication of the scheduling & planning process for the site. Reporting to the Sr Manager of Supply Chain, this Planning & Scheduling role will work closely with Programs & Sales, Inventory, and Purchasing teams to develop, drive, and implement "best in class" planning and scheduling processes across our low volume, high mix metal forming plant. This position is a high-level, strategy driver position with no direct reports.Principal Activities Align the Master Production Schedule and SIOP forecast to support and drive improvements to OTD Manage the material flow and work prioritization, automating manual processes where possible and aligning schedules to our ERP system Data Analysis: extract data from the ERP system, dissect, and present information to aid in critical business decisions Support SIOP training and implementation across the plant Create and implement a planning and scheduling process in order to reduce WIP and finished goods inventory. Partner with Sales, Contracts, and Programs to build a clear picture of customer demand profiles.Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited university or college preferred; experience will be considered in lieu of a degree for highly qualified candidates with industry experience Min 3+ years of professional supply chain experience in Production Planning and/or Scheduling Min 3+ years Metal forming experience Must be a US Citizen for considerationPreferred Qualifications: Proven process improvement (Lean 6S) and SIOP implementation experience Demonstrable experience improving OTD Experience with made-to-order or design to build, highly engineered, low volume/high mix manufacturing Investment Casting experienceInterested in hearing more?
