Title: Director of Asset Management and OperationsLocation: Dania Beach / Hollywood area (in office role, NOT hybrid / remote)Salary: $150k - $200k base salary, plus bonus. The co. has some benefits, like PTO, and they will provide a monthly stipend to help offset the cost of private health insurance Position: Real Estate Asset ManagerKey PointsLooking for a roll up sleeves candidate (not coming from a super corporate environment)10+ years relevant experienceOverview:We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual for the position of Real Estate Asset Manager based in Dania Beach / Hollywood, Florida. This key leadership role involves overseeing in-house assets and property managers, as well as overseeing leasing / rents, pool and construction projects (Capital Projects), permitting, general accounting. etc. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience with the ability to drive operational excellence across all managed properties. The portfolio consists of a mix of Multi-family, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail. Responsibilities:In-House Asset and Property Management:Directly manage in-house assets, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.Manager the insurance of propertiesOversee a team of property managers responsible for day-to-day operations, leasing, and tenant relations.Develop and implement strategic plans for the enhancement and growth of in-house assets.Team Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of property managers.Provide guidance and support to in-house and third-party management teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.Financial Oversight:Develop and manage annual budgets for in-house assets and third-party managed properties.Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize returns.Client and Stakeholder Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and stakeholders.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with property management activities.Implement and enforce compliance with local regulations and industry standards.Qualifications:Proven experience in commercial and multifamily asset management with a minimum of 10 years' experience.Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing successful property management teams.In-depth knowledge of real estate market trends, asset / property management best practices, and relevant regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel as needed
