Position Summary:The HR Technology Lead is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of HR technology solutions. This newly created position will play a critical role in transforming HR processes through technology, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives, and enhancing the overall employee experience.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership:Develop and implement a forward-thinking HR technology strategy that supports the organization's goals, aligns with the company's growth objectives, and enhances HR service delivery.Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new HR systems and technology solutions.Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the HR function remains innovative and competitive.Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline HR and payroll processes and improve the employee experience.System Administration:Oversee the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HR systems to support the evolving needs of the company and employees.Ensure robust data integrity and security protocols are in place across all HR systems and regularly updated to protect sensitive information. Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies.Innovation and Optimization:Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance HR and payroll efficiency.Leverage data analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, enabling proactive and strategic HR decisions.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR and other departments. Lead the implementation of new HR systems or modules, including planning, configuration, testing, and training.Continuously seek opportunities to improve system functionality and user experience.Collaboration:Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of HR technology and payroll systems with other business systems and strategies.Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages creativity and excellence.Serve as the primary liaison with HR technology and payroll vendors and consultants.Project Management:Lead HR technology and payroll projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and communicate progress to stakeholders.Takes on new projects and responsibilities as needed. User Support and Training:Oversee the creation and delivery of training programs to enhance user adoption and proficiency with HR and payroll systems.Ensure a high level of user satisfaction by providing exceptional support and swiftly addressing any system or payroll issues.Data Analytics and Reporting:Develop and implement data analytics and reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights into HR and payroll metrics and inform decision-making.Utilize data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and contribute to the company's overall strategic planning.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure HR systems and payroll processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.Conduct regular security audits and implement measures to mitigate risks.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in HR systems and payroll management, with a proven track record of leading HR technology initiatives.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Advanced knowledge of HRIS platforms such as UKG, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.Advanced knowledge of HR systems and processes.Advanced knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
