Career Services CoachPosition Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Career Services Coach to join our team. This role is instrumental in supporting students and alumni in their career development journey, using tools like HubSpot, Google Classroom, and Career Edge to provide guidance, resources, and coaching. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals achieve their professional goals and has experience in career coaching, employment placement, and using technology to streamline the coaching process.Key ResponsibilitiesCareer Coaching and CounselingProvide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to students and alumni, helping them explore career options, develop job search strategies, and prepare for interviews.Resume and Cover Letter ReviewAssist individuals with crafting effective resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials tailored to their career objectives.Job Search AssistanceHelp clients navigate job search tools and strategies, identify job opportunities, and connect with employers that align with their goals.Workshops and TrainingConduct workshops and webinars on career development topics such as resume building, interview skills, networking, and career planning.Technology IntegrationUse HubSpot to manage communication with students and track their career development progress.Create and manage course materials in Google Classroom for ongoing career development programs and resources.Leverage Career Edge to provide clients with job market insights, industry trends, and placement opportunities.Employer RelationshipsDevelop and maintain relationships with local and national employers to identify potential job placements and internships for students and alumni.Data Tracking & ReportingMonitor client progress and maintain accurate records of coaching sessions, employment outcomes, and student satisfaction using HubSpot and other platforms. Provide regular reports to the Director of Career Services.CollaborationWork closely with academic advisors, faculty, and other campus departments to ensure that students' academic and career plans are aligned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).2-4 years of experience in career coaching, career services, or a related field.Proficiency in HubSpotGoogle Classroom, and Career Edge or similar career development platforms.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to stay current with job market trends and employer needs.Preferred SkillsCertification in career coaching or counseling (such as NCDA or similar).Experience in higher education or working with diverse student populations.Familiarity with virtual coaching tools and remote education platforms.Working ConditionsThe position may require some evening or weekend hours depending on client availability.Flexibility for remote work may be available depending on organizational needs.
