You will ensure that goals and objectives are met while being a beacon of operational awesomeness.We are known to create both in-person and virtual events that are engaging. All details are fully thought through so that each event experience is seamless.You're a great fit if this sounds like you...Have several years of event and/or project management experience at an event company, marketing agency, experiential shop or on the client-sideAutomotive training, PR and/or consumer event experienceHave oversaw both in-person and virtual eventsConstantly have your finger on the pulse of what's now and what's nextCrazy attention to detail, without being crazy (or at least not too crazy)You've got unshakable positivity from the moment you wake upEntrepreneurial spirit"”ability to work independently and with your teamYou have the drive, resilience and creativity to do whatever it takes to get it doneOperate from a place of yes we canProficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Keynote and other industry-related technologiesHere's a glimpse of what you'll do...Direct and manage pre-production team (from 2 to 5 Producers and Coordinators)Direct and manage on-site event team (from 2 to 30 contract roles)Conduct venue research, develop presentations, negotiate contracts, oversee participant registration, hotel room blocks and logisticsCreate and manage budgets and production schedules/timelinesDevelop and manage registration process and guest communicationsAssist in content and development of event communications, presentations, signage, environment and other brandingMaintain established profitability goalsPlan and lead client meetings both in person and via conference callsManage client and vendor relationshipsWork with Apex creative, staffing, logistics and accounting teamsResearch and present creative event design options, venues, premiums, giftsPlan and lead event site visitsUnderstand event objectives, client brand and client personalitiesAnticipate needs and wants of clients - answer questions before askedSet and maintain tone for the team - always calm under pressureTravel can vary and may be up to 30-40% (dependent upon client event schedule and current health guidelines)SalaryDependent on ExperienceLocationOn site: 9801 Research Drive, Irvine, CA 92618
