Fresno Madera Farm Credit is searching for a self-motivated, highly driven individual to join our fast-paced team environment. The Director, Relationship Management develops and maintains a portfolio of agribusiness, vertically integrated operations and production loans, and supervises a team of Relationship Managers to develop new business and maintain and service existing portfolios.Responsibilities include:Portfolio and Team ManagementLead team in generating new loans and maintaining strong customer relationshipsMonitor loan performance, adjust risk ratings, and resolve delinquenciesDevelop strategic plans for key customers and ensure exceptional serviceTeam Leadership Hire, mentor, and evaluate relationship managers and capital market associatesGuide team with clear direction, assign tasks, and support professional growthOversee loan decisions, performance reviews, and set high performance standardsLoan OriginationEngage with current and prospective customers to assess financial needs and present loan solutionsCollaborate with credit analysts for loan assessments and approvalsPresent loan structures to loan committee for larger requests and communicate decisions to clientsCustomer Outreach and MarketingBuild a strong network by attending community events and engaging with key stakeholdersIdentify and prospect new business opportunities through market researchPromotes additional services such as leasing and cash management to meet the customer needsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge of the agriculture industryExpert knowledge of agricultural lending practicesExpert knowledge of loan structuring concepts, including complex loansGeneral knowledge in marketing principles and conceptsSkill in identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving long range goals or visionSkill in selecting, managing, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse teamsSkill in negotiating complex agreements to achieve the best outcome for the organizationSkill in analyzing information to formulate logical and objective conclusionsSkill in working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues.Skill in enhancing the performance of individuals and groups in an organizational setting.Skill in establishing a productive relationship with customersThe ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.Skill in recognizing the need for action and initiating activities to address the needExpert customer service skills including the ability to communicate complicated information, deliver bad news effectively, and exceed customer expectationsSkill in using a systematic approach to problem solvingAbility to identify and implement process improvementsWorking knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OutlookSkill in reading and understanding income statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customers.Minimum Qualifications:7 years of agriculture or commercial lending experience.3 years of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or a related field.
