In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth and accurate payroll operations while helping us grow and innovate.What You'll Do:Payroll Operations Mastery:Oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll for both weekly and biweekly cycles.Collaborate closely with HR to streamline payroll systems and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Process Improvement & Compliance:Continuously refine and optimize payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Ensure compliance with tax laws and manage all payroll-related audits and reports.Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and integrate them into our systems seamlessly.Tech-Savvy Problem Solving:Leverage our tech stack (including Intacct, Bill, Tallie, Blackline) to modernize and enhance payroll functions.Partner with IT and accounting teams to integrate new technologies that support our growing payroll needs.Collaboration & Growth:Work closely with cross-functional teams, especially HR and finance, to align payroll strategies with company growth and operations.Support financial audits and compliance reviews by providing detailed payroll data and insights.What You Bring:Expertise in Payroll:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2+ years of experience in payroll management, preferably in multi-state payroll environments.Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented:Experience with payroll systems and ERP platforms (Sage Intacct, , Tallie preferred).A passion for using technology to improve processes and accuracy.Leadership & Collaboration:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with HR, finance, and other departments.High integrity, energy, and a collaborative spirit to lead payroll initiatives.Bonus Points:Experience in the healthcare industry or a private equity environment.Previous involvement in mergers and acquisitions, particularly with payroll integration.
