Our 97,000 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionCollaborate with the corporate team on the development of protocols for new clinical studiesOversee scheduling and execution of clinical studiesSupport principal investigators and sub-investigators, as needed.Ensure the quality of execution of studies in line with our profitability expectationsServe as an escalation point with internal and external stakeholders regarding the execution of studiesCoordinate, as required, with other Stephens clinic sites in support of multi-site studiesEnsure staffing and resources are adequate to meet deliverablesOversee facility operation and maintenance, including preventative maintenance of clinic equipmentMaintain facility and services through interactions with building management and relevant service providersEnsure compliance with corporate safety and operational integrity policiesManage all staff at the Union & Elizabeth locationsAddress any HR related issues in coordination with the corporate HR teamHas overall responsibility for hiring, discipline, terminations, leave requests, and performance reviews of Union and Elizabeth Research Center in coordination with the corporate HR teamReview and understand financial reports relating to ElizabethWork in coordination with clients and the corporate costing team to develop and approve new study designs and cost proposalsWork with VP and Operations Director to build annual budgetManage P&L results in line with budget expectations for studies and for the overall siteInteract with client sponsors as needed, working in concert with principal investigators to host sponsors and provide status updates on clinic studies or answers to ad hoc client inquiriesSupport sales and marketing activities related to potential study opportunitiesRepresent the company at regional and national meetings / conferencesProvides guidance and/or leadership to others, including indirect reports, peers, or managersWill have supervisory responsibilitiesHas hiring and terminating responsibilitiesSupervises othersQualificationsBachelor's degree - preferably in science - RequiredMinimum 5 years of experience Clinic Research experience - RequiredSupervisory/leader experience - preferably in a multi-faceted environment - RequiredOR equivalent combination of education and experienceP&L Management - PreferredAdditional InformationSGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and as such we recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristics protected by law.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
