The Operations Manager will have an opportunity to work alongside a team of well-established experts in the sterilization industry in an environment where there is an emphasis on collaboration, communication, and company culture. As a key member of the management team, the Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Sales, and Executive Leadership to oversee and expand operations while ensuring the company is meeting production targets and quality standards. Location:Parsippany, New Jersey areaResponsibilities:In summary, the Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmaceutical sterilization/manufacturing business. Manage a cGMP production and sterilization plant by overseeing daily operations of aseptic processing and sterilization of pharmaceutical materials to ensure completion of all processes as per schedule, with quality and compliance. Work closely with cross-functional teams, hosting audits, and leading facility shutdowns for maintenance and upgrades. Train and develop staff in lean management principles, aseptic techniques, and overall operational excellence. Qualify and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality products/services at a fair price without compromising standards. Contribute to problem-solving for critical manufacturing, quality, and compliance day-to-day operations.Qualifications:Minimum of B.A. in business, life sciences, engineering, or related field. Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing with an understanding of sterilization methods and ready to use primary packaging is preferred. Strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on business opportunities. Minimum of 5 years of successful supervisory experience. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and integrate into a collaborative, team-based environment.
