Position OverviewDRYmedic Restoration Services is seeking a versatile and experienced individual to join our team in Indianapolis as a Senior Water Technician / Reconstruction Carpenter. This dual-role position involves overseeing water damage restoration projects and performing reconstruction tasks under the supervision of the Mitigation Service Manager. The successful candidate will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards of service and quality in both restoration and reconstruction phases.ResponsibilitiesWater Restoration Management:Oversee and manage water damage restoration projects from start to finish, including scoping, sketching, estimating, and equipment placement.Collaborate with project managers on claims, structural repairs, and job closures.Maintain positive relationships with homeowners/customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.Train and supervise less experienced staff.Maintain and manage equipment, ensuring all tools and vehicles are in good working order.Use tablet-based software for process management and job administration. Reconstruction Duties: Mask and prep job sites for reconstruction.Perform spackling, mud work, sanding, priming, painting, and drywall installation.Clean job sites post-reconstruction to ensure a professional finish.Address punch list items and handle minor repairs as required.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Certificate.Minimum 6 months experience in restoration and 2+ years in reconstruction or mitigation restoration.3-5 years of experience in construction, client-driven, or service-related industries.Experience with drywall, painting and handling punch list items.Skills:Proficiency in operating cell phones and tablets with minimal assistance.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Basic knowledge of tools and their usage.IICRC Certificate is a plus.Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.Valid driver's license required.Ability to work 40 hours a week.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
