We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will within our reputable Family Office team (Financial Services) and will concentrate on our niche within Private Equity (PE) Investment Firms. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Managing Director and will play a significant role in maintaining the financial health of our company, through the supervision and regulation of all our accounts and financial operations.Responsibilities:Fund accounting, analysis, and reporting on investment performance.Oversee and manage all general ledger activities for the Family Offices' funds and investment vehicles.Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with appropriate accounting standards and regulations.Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, accounting analysis, cash flow management, and more.Coordinate with investment team to record purchase and sale of investments, compile capital call and distribution letters, process investor contributions and distributions.Prepare comprehensive quarterly and annual investor reporting packages.Calculate and prepare tax payments, assist with tax return preparations.Monitor and organize cash flow projections and liquidity.Manage client relationships in a manner that contributes to the ongoing efficiency of the firm by highlighting and providing practical solutions to clients' accounting issues.Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or MBA preferred but not required.10+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a family office or private equity setting.Advanced understanding of accounting and financial principles.Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with accounting software, data analysis and financial modeling is advantageous.Skilled at managing multiple clients and deadlines.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Discretion when dealing with confidential information.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant who wants to work within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where they can make a meaningful difference and contribution.
