Job Title: Workforce Development SpecialistLocation: Skokie, IL (1-2 Days in, 3-4 Days remote weekly)Industry: HealthcarePay: $40/hr (based on experience)Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist, to lead the execution of our community hiring and internal mobility strategy. This role focuses on engaging local and diverse populations, as well as our committed front-line employees. This individual will implement actionable programs to build diverse talent pipelines and enhance internal development opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Metrics Tracking & Reporting: Monitor community, diversity, and internal hiring metrics. Support the reporting of HR and organizational diversity goals and objectives.Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key educational institutions and professional diversity-focused associations to develop diverse talent pools. Aim to support hard-to-fill positions and enhance diversity hiring across various demographics (gender, ethnicity, LGBTQ+, disabilities, veterans, etc.).Event Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of diversity recruitment events and programs, collaborating with community partners.Market Research: Conduct research to identify external diverse talent pools and work with internal stakeholders, including leadership, to explore initiatives for engaging these talent pools.Brand Promotion: Leverage marketing and communication channels, including social media and online recruiting resources, to promote an inclusive environment and enhance our clients reputation as an inclusive employer.Tool Development: Create toolkits and best practices to equip the talent acquisition team with resources aimed at increasing diverse candidates in our recruitment pipelines.Internal Mobility Strategy: Support the development of strategies that promote the advancement of front-line employees into in-demand jobs and career pathways.Grant Preparation: Assist in the preparation of grant submissions for the creation of internal and external pipeline development programs.Recruiting Strategy Materials: Collaborate on the development and maintenance of various recruiting strategy materials, including social media tactics, communication templates, educational materials, forms, and reports.Qualifications:Proven experience in workforce development, diversity recruitment, or a related field.Strong analytical skills and experience with data tracking and reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Experience in event planning and community engagement.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
